- Is the website Content Management System (CMS) web based?
- Will you be able to make content changes to your website from any computer and any browser?
- Is the website responsive and mobile friendly or static?
- Can the content easily be moved around?
- Can you create custom pages to be edited through the web browser?
- Does it have the ability to register and maintain individual user accounts within a flexible and rich permission/privilege system?
- Does it have RSS-feeds?
- Will it automatically notify the administrator when up-to-date security fixes become available?
- Can it backup your files directory and database on a schedule?
- Will it Run Cron jobs regularly?
- Can it selectively track certain users, roles, and pages?
- Will it monitor what type of links are tracked (downloads, outgoing and mailto) and what files are downloaded from your pages
- Do you have site search support?
- Can you update the site a WYSIWYG Editor?
- Do you have an XML sitemap that conforms to the sitemaps.org specification to help search engines to more intelligently crawl your website and keep their results up to date?
- Is every page search engine optimized to maximize the presence of your website in the major search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc?
- Will your website connect to various social media sites and auto update each one's status?
