When we get a new client, part of our services entails doing there social media markteing, social networking, and social bookmarking. While most of these task are done seamlessly via our website core deisgn, we do need to setup their accounat at all the websites. This is the way I want you to setup the acounts for our clients.

Check Username

Check to see if our desired username or vanity url is still available at dozens of popular Social Networking and Social Bookmarking websites. Its important for us to promote our clients consistently by registering a username that is still available on the majority of the most popular sites.

I want you to check the vanity and username with the domain name 1st. If the domain is not available, add "hawaii" to the end of it. If the clients website is http://www.watanabefloral.com/, check to see if "watanabefloral" is available. If it's not available at the major websites, add "hawaii" to the end and check "watanabefloralhawaii." For the most part that username will always be available.

Set Up Ping.fm Account

Now that we know what username name we'll be using at all the social media and bookmarking websites, I want you to setup all the accounts at Ping.fm.

Use the clients domain name as the prefix to the registering email. If the clients domain name is http://www.watanabefloral.com/, the email should be watanabefloral@ikaikakimura.com. Use the generic password.

As you resgiter at these websites, please fill in as much information as you can on the account or profile page. Add the website, email address, company name, company logo, and profile is available.
